QR Code Generator
Generate QR codes entirely in your browser.
QR codes are commonly used to share URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, or payment links — anyone can read them by pointing a phone camera at the pattern. This tool generates the code fully in your browser, so the text you enter is never sent to a server, which matters for links or contact details you'd rather keep private.

FAQ
How much data can a QR code hold?
A standard QR code can hold up to about 4,296 alphanumeric characters, but more data means a denser, harder-to-scan pattern. Short text like a URL or Wi-Fi password scans most reliably.
What does the error correction level mean?
It controls how much of the pattern can be damaged or obscured while the code still scans correctly. L has the lowest tolerance but the highest data capacity; H tolerates about 30% damage but stores less data. M or Q is a good default for everyday use.
Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. The QR code is encoded entirely in your browser — the text you enter and the resulting image never leave your device.
