This tool is designed primarily for U.S. car purchases. Buyers outside the U.S. can still use it — every input (price, rate, sales tax, fees, term) is editable, so just plug in the values that apply to your situation. Missed payments can result in the vehicle being legally repossessed by the lender.

Sales tax is calculated on the negotiated price (price − cash incentives − net trade-in equity), following the practice in most US states.
